Relationships
My friend recently blogged about her husband and how he still makes her Swoon after 10 years. That's a dreamy feeling I wish we could share with everyone. I've stated many times during this construction project how much more in love I have become with my amazing hubby! We talk late at night, sometimes here and there throughout the day but most importantly, we really stop and listen to each other. We respect what we both have to say. We'd love to have more time to spend together but for now, we made the decison to send our kids to private school and to build a new home so we are both working our butts off! A lot of my days are spent leaving home at 730am and returning home about 940pm. During this time, the kids are at daycare or school and the hubby is at work. When he returns home (45 minute commute), he picks up the children, prepares supper and attends to unfinished projects at the house. He is AMAZING, patient, persistant, good humored, an inspiring dad and most importantly? He's in love with me! The most important part of a relationship? Treat them as you want to be treated! Respect, Dignity, Compassion, Love, Loyalty, and Comfort are the most important traits needed in any relationship. My husband is sooo handsome and that definately helps keep the passion alive! LOL! I can't wait until our project is done so we can hang out together, relax and enjoy the fruit of our labor!
Did I mention he left this morning? 10.5 inches of very wet white stuff, just dumped on us and he's on his way to Florida to watch Spring Training...Nice timing my love!! I was only stuck once this morning and so was the contractor (he was much worse off than I). Enjoy your mini vaca!! We'll be shoveling out while waiting for you!
